Indonesia's Internet Penetration is Below 20%

That's still a big achievement with  44 million users of the Internet, mostly in urban areas.

Mobile broadband penetration is growing fast but with limited resources its no-where near enough for a country with over 220 million people.

Think of the impact the Internet can have on lives across Indonesia  - and the richness and diversity the Indonesian people can offer the global digital community.  These opportunities need to be seized.

Programs to accelerate Internet access such as the mobile internet vans are music to our ears.

Lets see some more Australian  co-operation with our near  neighbours on this.  It will benefit us all in the long term.

Its the same and even more urgent for Papua New Guinea and East Timor.
